Bioshock is a game unlike any other, a combination of horror and first person shooter. It is welcomed revolution into the gaming word, you should at least try this award winning game.
The graphics, game play and story are absolutely amazing and I hope that Bioshock 2 will be just as great. After playing Bioshock, it took me a long time to find another video game that sparked my interest. Nuff said. I LOVE THIS GAME. I have been playing video games for a long time and I have to say that this is the best game I have ever played.period. If you have never played this game just buy it, you'll love it.
Great level development, find little sisters, save them (or harvest them), get adam and use it to get upgrades. it's made with the "Unreal" graphic generator), anyway. You will love this game. This game is great. 100/10. This game has perfect game style, the way you can switch from weapons to plasmids and via versa with the click of a button.
Buy it, buy it, buy it. I got this game for Christmas and have almost beaten it for my second time. Graphics are Unreal (get it. Great idea for an underwater utopia, something you don't see in to many games.
Later in the game, you can have a tool that hacks the terminal but it is a 1 time use and you can only carry 5 at a time. You must play this game and i hope this helps If you save your money you can just pay for the hack instead of the puzzle that is required. The game is set from the 1950's so dont expext high tech weapons but the plasmids make up for it.
Terminals to be hacked are Security cameras, Turrets, Fliying Bots, Vending machins, Health stations and some doors. Some of the weapons are revolver, rocket launcer, napalm gun, harpoon Gun, Shotgun and Harpoon Gun. The weapons get better and choosing power ups is awesome. Each weapon has 3 types of ammo and each with a good use and chooting style. I heard their are 2 ending but i chose the good side both times. I just recently played the game and i was really impressed with the grafix and story of the game.
It could only require 1 playthrough but i had to play the game on hard and not use a Vita Chamber. The bad: their are too many terminals than can be hacked in the game. You can just destroy the Terminal but if your playing on hard, they come in handy as they can kill splicers or do most of the damage. Each of the weapons can be upgraded twice and they work better and looke better too. I first played the game in OCT08 but i did not like it due to other games as Bad Company and Gears of War. This game should be played by all that enjoy a first person shooter for 100% chevo completion.
Not to mention Big Daddys that require lots of ammo to kill.
The storyline was extremely interesting and there were many files to pick up and listen to, which were also important to the story and interesting as well. I'm now going back to try it on Hard mode. I loved the dark feeling of the game. I loved the FPS and RPG feel of it. Although the game didn't really have much epic music, I did enjoy the oldies in the background (since this game takes place in 1960).
First of all, the graphics were good and it was full screen. The weapons were all right, but I had a lot of fun using the plasmids and then the wrench. The plot was eerie and almost made me feel like I was there. The game was definitely "long enough" and has replayability to be sure. This game was spectacular.
There were so many areas to explore, but it's fun enough that you'd want to explore them again in a second or third playthrough. The U-Invent machines were also great because it was nice to be able to make custom ammo and especially the auto-hack tools (as I hate puzzles and just plain hacking aggravated me).
